The water is well water and it has a septic system. The water is clean, clear, odorless and tasteless. After you have lived there a while you will find city water has a different taste of chlorine and more than likely find municipal water objectionable. The well has never run dry and the previous owner had a wife and 5 children and he indicated the same to me.
