40x60x15 Open..No sides...Galvalume Roof,8x8 posts, Gutter board not included
We dig an 18”wide hole, 4' deep with 80# of concrete in the bottom for a footer and then we put up to 160# of concrete around the post about 3/4th of the way up to stabilize it.
We use 8x8 posts. Its one big piece of timber. You won't snap it of by accident! And it won't twist or warp.
We use Wye bracing on all our open buildings.
(NEW)(EXCLUSIVE) HEADERS & TRUSSES are now BOLTED on!! in addition to being nailed.
We also use 2x4 every two feet for purloins for the roof metal.
If the building gets side metal we use a 2x8 treated board on the bottom. 2X6es every 3' apart on the side wall.
We use yellow pine lumber which is stronger than spruce and the wood burrowing Bumble bees let it alone.
We use 29 gage 40 year Metal to insure Years of trouble free performance.
We use 5” Ring Shanked, Cold Dipped Galvanized, Hardened, Pole Nails. Depend on it, these baby's hold!!!
My son Jared is the job supervisor & foreman. We bring our camper and stay till we are finished on most jobs.
